Kevyn

kevynweb.jpgYour name: Kevyn Lynn Yudizky

Workshop: week 2

If you have a nickname, what is it? Kev or Kevy

Are you single, married, have children? Married with an 8 month old little boy.

If you have children: how many, what are their names, how old are they:

Layne is 8 months old!

What state do you live in ? Texas (woo-hoo)

What do you spend way too much of your time doing?

Being crazy busy!!!

What do you wish you could spend more of your time doing? Spending quality time with my husband and son.

How did photography find you?

I am passionate about “art” and creativity and have been searching for an outlet. Photography basically fell in my lap. I bought a camera about 7 months ago and just started shooting.

What is your favorite thing to take pictures of?

People- of course!!! I love doing engagements, seniors and my little boy!!!

How long have you been doing photography ?

7 months- I know- I’m probably the “baby” photographer, but you have to start somewhere.

Do you have a photography business? If so, for how long? Yes- about 3 months.

What is your favorite food? Mexican…preferably quesadillas or fajitas. Oh- and I love banana pudding.

What is something you can’t live without?

My mom…she helps me with whatever I need…and whenever I need it. She’s great.

What is something no one knows about you?

When it comes to photography I want to be the BEST. I’ve got a lot to learn, but am willing and driven to do so. Also- I am a Christian who wants to make a difference in this world.

What is on your iPod or Playlist:

Jeremy Camp, Matt Powell (very talented)…pretty much anything pop, texas country or Christian. I used to love Metallica.

Are you a night owl or early riser? Can I say NEITHER… but now I have to be whatever my son is.

What is your favorite guilty pleasure? It’s horrible…Reality TV!

If you could have dinner with anyone in the world…dead or alive, who would it be?

My friend Marc who passed away almost 2 years ago. I just wish I could thank him for being such a good friend to me.

What are some things that you like?

My sleep, music, the lake

What are some things you don’t like
?

Screaming babies, pecans and being cold

When you can do anything, what do you do?

Grab a good magazine, a drink, put my swimsuit on and go lay out by the pool

What do you have to do before you die? Travel to Italy and just be proud of the person I was on earth…

Tell us something more about you:

Funny

I used to be pretty clumsy and I’m not very coordinated (I guess they go hand in hand.

Serious

My son was born 2 ½ months early and had to be in the NICU for 6 weeks. Hardest 6 weeks of my life!

Entertaining

I can usually make my family laugh…especially when I am “uncoordinated.”

Philosophical

It’s refreshing to remember that we were not put on this earth to make ourselves happy- rather to please God.

Exciting

I’m going to a really cool workshop in February!

True

Sometimes I wear my feelings on my shoulders.

Meaningful

I feel like I married the best man on earth (for me ).

Powerful

I like to remember that we all have more power than we know.

Name 2 of your weaknesses: organization and confidence

Name 5 of your strengths: passionate, easy going, creative, caring and goofy (some people may not find that a strength)

My mom's name is Kevin, and she has always said that she wishes her parents would have used a y instead of i!!! I can't believe - I have never heard of another woman named Kevin. Mom lives in Midland TX, as soon as I read your bio, I called her!! I wish I could meet you, but I'm in week one. I can't wait.
