If you have children: how many, what are their names, how old are they: Diego (2 yrs) and Victor (5 months)
What state do you live in? NC
What do you spend way too much of your time doing? Wiping rears & noses
What do you wish you could spend more of your time doing? Sleeping through the night.. and taking my boys out more
How did photography find you? My own wedding inspired me
What is your favorite thing to take pictures of? Romance & seniors
How long have you been doing photography? Almost 4 years, but 1.5 for real
Do you have a photography business? If so, for how long? Yes – “Evoke” for almost a year. www.evokenc.com
What is your favorite food? Sweet potatoes baby
What is something you can’t live without? My family & my computer. Often I have dreams that I take my computer out for walks… I’m not sure it’s a healthy addiction.
What is something no one knows about you? Once while I was studying in Mexico, the janitor was cleaning the ladies bathroom so I went to the boys bathroom. The janitor saw me coming out, started yelling at me, and I took off running.
What is on your iPod or Playlist: Joss Stone, Celia Cruz, and more Celia Cruz
Are you a night owl or early riser? Night owl by nature, early riser by babies
What is your favorite guilty pleasure? Frozen custard with heath bar & caramel and CrËme Brulee
If you could have dinner with anyone in the world…dead or alive, who would it be? Jesus
What are some things that you like? Loud happy people, a thinner waist, making strange noises, bright blue, high heels, the word “root”, java, salsa music, badger commercials (might be a NC thing), when my boy calls my husband “mopi”, and waking up my boys & seeing them smile at me.
What are some things you don’t like? Wearing pantyhose when I haven’t shaved, putting on wet jeans, parking by homeless people, being mediocre, lack of emotion, being broke, superior attitudes, poo poo diapers, and having to repeat myself.
When you can do anything, what do you do? Sit & wonder how in the world I’d be able to do something other than entertain my boys & work on images!
What do you have to do before you die? I’m content as is… anything else is just a bonus!

Funny: When there’s nothing sweet in the house, I mix coffee creamer & maple syrup together
Serious: My priorities are all out of whack, and I’m hoping to get things on track this year
Entertaining: Me & my husband come up with new insane facial expressions & will laugh at who can make the worst face
Philosophical: If the moon were cheese, I would eat it.
Exciting: I will become what I want to be – a great mom & a great photographer.
True: I want to stick my head in a toilet after I compare my photography to others.
Meaningful: Motherhood is the best thing that ever happened to me.
