Steph, This blog portrays a perfect YOU, but so much more is missing. You are a wonderful mother, friend, wife, Christian example, etc... I pray that this workshop will be just what you need. We miss you and your family! Maybe we can go to La Terrazza (for your favorite Mexican cuisine) when you get back! O and you could go without earrings... you so should have kept that to yourself! love you- enjoy yourself!!!
Stephanie,
What do you mean leaving out your nickname!!! I would give you
"tortoise" because you really want to be a "hare" but you are
SLOWLY moving in the hare's direction to finish the race.
No seriously, you are truly a talented photographer who sees so
much more than anyone I have ever known. You are not afraid to
think outside the box and your vision for photography and anything that you want to do in life is just phenomenal.
After this workshop, I cannot wait to see what you will be able to do. The sky is the limit!!! Also, thank you for being a wonderful mother and friend. Most of all, thank you for allowing me to love your children as my very own. For that, I will be forever grateful and blessed.
Love Ya, Evie
Stephanie,
You Go Girl!!! Your mother would be so proud of you. And I am in her cheering section for you. Stay in touch and hope your time at the workshop is well spent.
love to you,
marva
Well didn't I make you look good! It certainly helps when you know how to pose yourself. I think we did a great job of hiding your earlobes too! You know I am excited to see what you bring back home to SRT. It can only go up from here. Working with you is certainly never boring. I value your friendship as well as your sounding board. You are a treasure to me and I am so thankful that God put us together. Nurses to photographers, who woulda thunk it?
Love you, Amy
First of all, dito to everything Evelyn said. I'm so excited that you're getting to go on this trip. It will be a great break from all the responsibilities of life, so you can find yourself again. You're already a great photographer, mother, and friend, so I'm excited to see the new you. You've helped me so much these last few months, and I only hope that somehow I can help you in return. I know that your mother would be so proud of who you have become. I love you!
Steph, always be open to where God is leading you. I know God is very much involved with your life - he is opening and closing doors. This workshop is an open door and an answer to prayer. You are so much your mother's daughter and she is looking down and loving what she sees!! I love you very much and am so thankful for you being a part of my families life. Enjoy your time away.
Stephanie,
What a joy it has been to have beccome a part of your family's life. You have got a precious family!! It's also been exciting to be a small part of SRT Photography. You are an inspiration to me in so many ways - a devoted mother and wife, your devotion to God, a christian friend, and too many others to mention.
I pray that this weekend is just what you need to renew your love for photography. I truly believe that God is in control or that 40th place would have not been there for you. Stephanie, your photography shows so much of your personality. Your desire to catch that "something extra" shows in each picture. You want each photograph to capture the true heart of each person. That is what I love so much about your photography. You are so gifted in that respect along with being so very creative. I could go on forever praising your work, but I will leave room for your next response. I look forward to helping you and Amy shoot the Schneider-Crigler Wedding - it will be a blast! If I can help with the children in any way while you are gone, please know that I am at your beckon call. I want your "Love Affair Workshop" to be your renewed spark for the passion you have for SRT Photography! Can't wait to watch you do your "magic" when you return home. By the way, your picture looks great!! Love You!!
I was very interested in hearing what u said about yourself. I see u as a beautiful and caring person who doesn't ever seemed overwhelmed! I feel like I'm doggy-paddling to stay afloat in all that I have to do, so it's comforting (which sounds bad) to know I'm not the only one. Let me know when u figure it all out! That can be your book u write:-) Love u, Kish
I am so proud of you. I know this will be a wonderful experience for you. Wish I were going with you!!! Hugs!!! Paige
Steph,
I know you have been waiting on this workshop and will enjoy the time you get to do something that you truly love. Your pictures are my inspiration and the loves of my life and you are an inspiration to me as well as many others for doing what you love and letting others see the joy & happiness in pictures. When I look at your work, as I have told you before it always makes me cry b/c you not only taking photos of my children but you show the love through those photos. We are all very proud of you and what you have accomplished and can't wait for your return and the new ideas who will bring back with you.
Enjoy this time. Loves,
Hey Steph,
My kids are wondering why Mama is sitting at the computer bawling. I loved reading your bio and all of the wonderful emails from friends. We've been through some pretty rough times together and I don't know how I would have kept my sanity without you. My most precious possessions are the photographs you have taken of my family over the years. Everyone who knows me knows that if my house burns, I only want my pictures. I don't care about anything else. (Well, I would like for my family to make it out safely.)
When our family found out that Daddy was dying, we scheduled a session with you. Now that he is gone, I have those precious reminders of him to look at every day.At his graveside, you captured moments that were so important for our family to remember....for our children to remember. I didn't realize until later how difficult it must have been for you.
Enjoy your time and your lessons learned. You have a family and friends who can't wait for you to return. You can use my kids as guinea pigs. Ha Ha. I called her first!
